And so I'm going to close this journal. Not delete it, I just won't be updating it anymore. Not until next year at least. This was a lot of fun. I hope I can get other people to join next year to blog for THEIR favorite charity.

10. I’m not nearly as young as I used to be.
9. Salads at 3 AM are NOT a good idea.
8. The Human Stain is not a good movie to watch when you’re already exhausted.
7. Sitting in a computer chair for almost 24 hours is not comfortable.
6. I’m somehow even clumsier when I’m tired.
5. Sunrises are pretty cool.

2. My dog is incredibly loyal.

Thanks mysticrealm for being my personal cheerleader for most of yesterday and this morning. Couldn’t have done it without you. For real. Don’t worry about falling asleep. You’re just smarter than me for not putting yourself through this hell!!! But seriously though, thanks a lot.

Last, but certainly never least, Lauren. The thought of you is what has kept me going for so long. Anytime I thought of giving up, I thought of all your pain and suffering, and how you quietly and sweetly endured it. You never stopped smiling. If you could do that, then I could certainly stay up for 24 hours to help someone else. Thanks for looking over my shoulder all night. I needed it.

Right. Time for thank yous. I’m starting them now, because by the time 9 AM gets here, my butt is crashing.

No more naps. It's getting harder to wake up.

I realize I haven't posted anything of substance for the past several hours. Oh well.

And I took yet ANOTHER power nap. This time me and Fizzy crammed onto the couch and napped. Actually, I was the only one crammed. How a 25 pound dog managed to take up half the couch is a mystery...

Took another power nap. I NEEDED that. I wouldn't have been able to finish without it.
